Three Blandin Foundation programs exemplify Charles Blandin’s commitment to further the education and work skills of local residents who demonstrate financial need.
Blandin Foundation Education Grants
Education Grants – $1,000 to $4,000 per student each year – are for every student (homeschooled, too) of high schools in the Itasca County area, even if you're not in the top of your class. You can apply if you are under age 25 and plan to go to community college, certificate programs, colleges or universities anywhere in the United States.
In June 2015, the Foundation awarded Education Grants to more than 300 Itasca area students ages 18-25.
The 2015 application period has closed. Applications for the 2016-2017 school year open January 2, 2016. Deadline to apply is always May 1.
