60 percent or more of our annual grantmaking is made in the Itasca area, our home giving area.

Grants for work in other parts of rural Minnesota focus on high-impact projects that other rural communities can learn from and emulate.

Our board of trustees reviews applications at their meeting the following quarter (March applications reviewed in June, etc).
