Amy Fearing

Accounting Associate

Headshot photo of Amy FearingI was born and raised in Hibbing as the youngest of five children, growing up in the country where life was simple and centered around family. One of my favorite memories is gathering around the table each evening for a home-cooked meal—something that shaped my values and became a tradition that I’ve continued with my own family. I’ve always appreciated the closeness and sense of connection that comes with small-town living.

Since our family moved to Grand Rapids, we’ve truly enjoyed becoming part of the community. Living here keeps me connected to nature and the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, camping, fishing, and boating—favorite ways for me to relax, recharge, and spend time with family.

As the Accounting Associate, I’m dedicated to supporting my team and contributing to the foundation’s mission through dependable, behind-the-scenes work. I collaborate closely with the finance team, ensure payroll runs smoothly, and that financial records are maintained with accuracy and integrity. I’m grateful to be part of the Blandin Foundation and value the meaningful work it does to support rural communities.

I have more than 20 years of experience in accounting, office administration, and payroll. I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Administrative Assistant studies and have also completed additional coursework in accounting.
