Becky has been an employee of the Blandin Foundation since January 2004. She has been a member of the Foundation’s leadership team where she is currently responsible for managing the design and implementation of recruitment for the all Blandin Foundation community leadership training programs. She spends many hours traveling the state of Minnesota getting to know rural communities.
Becky earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bemidji State University, and her master’s in leadership from Duquesne University. Prior to joining the Blandin Foundation, she worked in accounting roles at several area companies, served as director of religious education at St. Joseph’s Church, and co-owned and operated an industrial sales company in Hibbing. She is active in community including her role on the Leadership Team for Get Fit Itasca, serves as the treasurer for Harris Township, and volunteers with 4-H, Grand Rapids – Greenway Lightning Boosters, and the Itasca County Family YMCA. Becky recognizes vibrant rural communities when she feels places that are welcoming, energized, resilient, with many different opportunities for individuals to feel at home.
