Jenna Ihle
Grants Manager

I grew up in Swatara, in a home where three generations of my family were raised. During my teenage years, my family moved to Hill City. I truly appreciate having grown up in a place where my family has resided for so many years, as it gave me a strong connection to my heritage and a deep appreciation for rural living. I love the land, the sense of community, the small businesses, and my educational experience.
My family has owned a small business in Hill City since 1991, so I’ve always understood the hard work, dedication, and community support that small businesses require. My education also stayed rooted in rural. I attended Itasca Community College, where I earned my associate’s degree in engineering, and then transferred to Iron Range Engineering, a satellite program of Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I received my bachelor’s degree in engineering.
As the Grants Manager, I focus on the systems and processes that support effective and compliant grantmaking. I manage program data, develop reports and dashboards, and ensure confidentiality and compliance throughout the grant lifecycle, helping to make the grant process efficient, transparent, and impactful.
I’m proud of where I come from and the perspective rural living has given me. I’m passionate about supporting our communities by strengthening the processes that allow organizations and individuals to access resources, helping to create opportunities and build a stronger future for our home giving area.
