John Weyer

I grew up on a farm in central Minnesota and have lived most of my life in northern Minnesota. Rural life has shaped who I am and how I approach things. I value the resourcefulness and resilience of rural communities – the ability to work with what you have, adapt, and find a way forward.

My work at Blandin Foundation has focused on technology, information, and making sure the applications we use support the work of the Foundation. As Application Manager, I enjoy understanding what people are trying to accomplish and finding practical ways technology can help. A big part of that is connecting people, processes, and technology so they work well together.

I appreciate being able to bring that same spirit of resourcefulness and curiosity to my work at the Foundation, supporting the people and systems that help move rural places forward.
