Linda Gibeau

Linda has lived in rural Minnesota all her life. She grew up in the Calumet/Marble area on Minnesota’s Iron Range and presently lives with her husband in Coleraine.  The family tradition carries through to her children as well, both of whom live in rural Minnesota.

Her deep roots in small communities have given her a keen eye for projects that strengthen the social fabric and economies of these places. In addition to reviewing grant proposals from small towns across rural Minnesota, Linda works with the grants team, research officer and rural capacity building staff to inform and improve the Foundation’s grantmaking practices.

Prior to her current role, Linda served as grants manager and oversaw the Foundation’s scholarship program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the College of St. Scholastica and a mini-MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She says working for an organization, such as the Blandin Foundation, with a mission and vision for rural places has been an honor and privilege.
