Sticky, sweet success

sprig by Posted in Vibrant Rural

Stack up your flapjacks and get in line to taste test the world’s best maple syrup.

Ralph and Amy Fideldy of TimberSweet maple syrup were recently named best in show at the North American Maple Syrup Conference. The Fideldy’s, who live in Cohasset, Minnesota, competed against more than 100 different small and major producers from Northeastern United States and Canada.

Every year, you can find the Fideldys’ syrup at Goods from the Woods , the largest showcase of  handcrafted, forest-based arts and crafts in the Midwest. They are also founding members of the Minnesota Wood Campaign.

As proponents of healthy forests, the Fideldys are expanding the economic viability of our north woods through their now award-winning maple syrup. Congratulations!
