Blandin Foundation names Wade Fauth vice president
GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (May 11, 2010) – Blandin Foundation grants director Wade Fauth has been promoted to the position of the Foundation’s vice president.
In announcing the promotion, CEO Jim Hoolihan recognized Fauth’s leadership during especially difficult economic times. “Wade has been a key to helping navigate dramatic economic shifts both for the Foundation as well as for those who rely on our grants,” he said. “In this new role, Wade will lead strategic planning and assessment, as well as to continue directing the Foundation’s grant-making. We are very pleased to promote Wade to vice president as we take on challenges and opportunities facing rural Minnesota communities.”
Fauth has been with the Blandin Foundation since 2001, overseeing the local and statewide grant-making work of the Foundation. In that time, he has directed the distribution of roughly $100 million in grants and has engaged with both local and statewide initiatives such as United Way of 1,000 Lakes and the Regional Economic Development group.
Fauth is a graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., and the American University Law School in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
