Blandin Foundation grants director Sonja Merrild and Northland Foundation president Tony Sertich shared key findings from a newly released study on northeastern Minnesota’s child care shortage on Almanac North.

- The region needs 4,500 new child care slots. Adding these could cost from $950,000 to more than $10 million.
