Recharging Redwood Falls: leaders share what fuels them
by Blandin Foundation Posted in Rural Capacity Building, Vibrant Rural
Engaged. Networked. Community-focused. Just three of many ways to describe rural Minnesota community leaders. When a group of our leadership program alumni in the Redwood Falls area gathered last fall, three leaders agreed to share what fuels their work. Their thoughts were entirely on-target with the day’s discussion, which centered on skills community leaders can apply to guide their community’s response to the fast pace of change.
Their current work includes augmenting business education offerings at the local high school, serving as the county’s first economic development coordinator, and spotlighting the value of high-quality rural health care.
We think the insights from Brianna and Anne, and from Cindy, will renew your spark for ymaking your community a #vibrantrural community. And you can always learn more about our leadership programs.
